Pamalican Island is a little Cuyo Island in the Sulu Sea, between Panay and Palawan Philippines, in the north area of the province Palawan of the country. The Pamalican is located in the center of a seven square kilometer coral reef. It has a 2.5 kilometres of area, and measures just five hundred metres (one thousand and sixty hundred ft) at its widest point.

The island was actually exploited as a stressed family-owned plantation.  It was then purchased by Andres Soriano Jr. a remarkable business. His children then planned to build a resort and hotels in Palawan and leased management responsibility to establish a wonderful resort. The island is private asset and belongs in totality to seven seas Resort. It is a part of the top-end group resort, Aman Resorts, working in the title of Amanpulo.
